Microsoft’s blue screen of death is iconic in the world of Windows and has long signified that all is not right with your operating system and you are invited to take immediate action.

Most things must come to an end at some point and Microsoft has taken this to heart with Windows 11. The beta version released about a week ago to the Windows Insiders testers, the blue screen is now black. This is not a massive change, but the blue BSOD screen is familiar to just about everyone in the world.

The new black screen was discovered by Windows Insiders, Martin Nobel, who posted a video of the new “black screen of death”.
